GROUP CFO

 

 

The context

 

Our customer is an Italian firm, with over sixty years of experience, firmly established as a global leader, and operating worldwide via several commercial branches and production facilities.

 

It is a solid company with more than 100 million euros in turnover, and about 800 employees.

 

The company is in a technological, organizational and qualitative evolution, thus its ongoing growth has been possible thanks to a constant focus on research, development and innovation.

 

Furthermore, it has always been customer-centric, with all company functions collaborating for that purpose.

 

The company is family-owned, and since a few years, has undergone a change management process in order to gradually improve the internal and external processes, the culture and tools rendering it more efficient and competitive.

 

Currently, the company seeks a new Chief Financial Officer. This is viewed as the most strategic path to the company’s future, with responsibility of the worldwide financial, administrative and controlling divisions.

 

 

 

The role

 

Reporting to the President, the Group CFO is in charge of financial and economic areas, and the Group’s establishment all over the world.

 

The position is based at the company’s HQ in Northeast Italy but she/he would be required to travel abroad as well.

 

Joining the management team, she/he is expected to give her/his strong contribution to the firm's race towards increasingly challenging objectives.

 

 

The ideal candidate

 

 

  • She/he needs to have already covered and consolidated the same role in companies based on an international organizational model, which are operating in the industrial field.

  • She/he is able to match innovation and common sense in order to drive the performance of her/his functional area while pursuing the continuous improvement of the organization and its processes.

  • She/he is able to influence people, her/his authoritativeness is perceived in terms of hard skills, like technical competencies, and soft skills, for example relationship management.

  • The main hard skill sought is in international finance, while she/he must have the ability to build lasting relationships in any situation and with any person.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and results orientation are must-haves
